“Discarding our Sins”
Last week we talked about Gods Grace.
Last week we talked about Gods Grace.
This week I would like to talk about discarding our sins. We ask for forgiveness and Gods Grace, but do you allow yourself to leave your sins behind?

your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.

Who do we think we are? God does not remember our sins he leaves them behind. He does not old them agents us. so why do we tend to hold our mistakes and sins over our head?

Are we the judge and sentence? We have talked many times about God’s job is to be the judge. Ours is to love.

When we ask for forgiveness do we understand God is whipping our slate clean? He does not decide his decisions in our life on how to guide us based on what we have ask for forgiveness for. when he forgives us he forgets what we have done. How many times in our life have we held onto things that haunt us in our everyday life?

We allow this to weight us down. when we carry around unnecessary guilt it affects all we do. We ask for forgiveness from the lord and he knows when it is from our heart, we need to be willing to allow it to go to him for disposal. if we keep caring around our sins we will never be a true follower of Jesus Christ.

To be a true follower of Jesus christ it takes a willingness to discard our sins on the Lord.

you see in Jesus's eyes we our sins are gone. When we allow our sins to be left behind we can free ourselves to do the work the Lord has asked us to do.
